Discover Boston, MA
Boston is where many of my clients start, whether they are buying their first condo or selling a triple-decker to move down the Red Line. I work the city's southern neighborhoods most: Dorchester, South Boston, Hyde Park, Mattapan, and Roslindale, the areas that connect naturally to the South Shore.
The city's market is really two dozen markets. Brownstone Back Bay behaves nothing like a Dorchester two-family, and a data-first approach matters here more than anywhere: knowing what the specific block, building, and unit type has actually been trading for.

Transit Score
Excellent Transit
Within the city, the MBTA's subway lines, commuter rail, and buses put most neighborhoods 15 to 30 minutes from downtown. The southern neighborhoods I focus on ride the Red Line, the Fairmount Line, and the Ashmont-Mattapan trolley.

The Housing Stock
Living in Boston
Historic brick rowhouses, classic triple-deckers, and modern condo buildings define the stock. Central neighborhoods are overwhelmingly condos and multi-families, while single-family homes cluster in outer neighborhoods like West Roxbury and Hyde Park.
Best for: Young professionals, condo buyers, and investors in the southern neighborhoods, plus sellers trading city equity for South Shore space. Strong transit and walkability come with a price premium and sharper competition.

Boston Public Schools is the largest district in Massachusetts, serving over 46,000 students across 125 schools, headlined by the historic exam school Boston Latin. Private standouts include Roxbury Latin and Commonwealth School.
Always verify current enrollment zones and programs directly with the district when evaluating a specific address.
